I did it for a few months when I worked warehouse in a Waitrose. The first few days it's wierd sleeping during the day, but you get used to getting home and sleeping at 9am

I did it for a while.
No need for night shifts in work anymore, as Austrailia now have their own support
Slept straight after work. Ended up just watching movies and sleeping in work anyway

I used to do 9-7, but it was only 4 nights every 5 weeks, then back onto days so I couldn't get into a routine as such.
I'd usually sleep as soon as I got home, then get up for 4pm when my ex got home, spend the evening with her then go back to work.
After the final night I'd just stay up until 8pm that evening then get the best nights sleep ever

i work 3 shift pattern.
i do nights every 3 weeks 10:30pm-6:30am
i sleep after the shift (get home at 7am, get up around 3pm)so i get a decent amount of sleep each morning and still have around 5 hours on daylight left.
once you get used to it, it's really easy.
also, they key is to not sleep too much or you'll actually end up feeling more tired than you would having 7-8 hours sleep

Exactly. My mates are like how on earth do you do it etc, but it's no different to getting used to waking at 6am every morning for work. You get a routine.
I'm going back to night shift tonight after being on a day course for a month, gonna take a few days to get back into routine.

I don't, I tend to sleep about the same. Doing days I was in bed by 11 and up at 7. Doing nights it depends when I get home, but usually I'm in bed by 4 - 6am and up about 12 - 1.

I usually prefer working night shifts at my work. Coz i work on the railway you only get a couple of hours of work coz you cant disrupt the train times etc. Get paid 7.5 hours whether i do them or not, so nights are good. Get to work around midnight, home around 4 or 5am and your up by midday.
