Yeah, pisscatchers. That's the type. They did actually collect water if you stood in the rain.
The black leather ones are terrible though. The rough one's Shane has posted are more what i meant.
Not necesarily Kickers, but they were the most common brand that did that type of shoe.

They're called moccasins (sp) are they not?
Pisscatchers sound's better however
