How annoying is it getting outbid by the smallest amounts

Always seems to happen to me. Was winning with a min to go so I put in another £50 so that I was £50 clear of by current winning bid.

Wait a minuite and find that I have lost by a pound

Was my last chance to get some decent wheels/tyres on the corsa in time for coombe

contact the sell now to tell him that if the winner lets him down, you'll still take it for your bid

You'd be amazed how many times buyers let the sellers down.

He could have beat you by a large amount, but it takes the lowest amount needed to win hence losing by a quid

His max bid would of been higher than what it sold for no doubt, its just when it was auto bidding to outbid you all it needed to do was to beat you by £1.

or the seller could have his mate bidding on his item... and his mate may have won so there might be a second chance offer coming!

i contacted a bloke on ebay for my st wheels once the bidding had been won by someone else and paid £400 to himinstead of the 350 that the other bloke had bid and won.

i got them

although i reckon he was a dodgy character as he had loads of brand new ford alloys for sale and they were all in an old transit
