As some of you will know on Wednesday, i got disqualified for 3 months and a £300 fine.

I just got a letter from my solicitor stating its only a £100 fine.

Does anyone know if my solicitor would have recieved the details of ban and fine in writing? Or do you think he misheard?

When i got done for DD the judge said i was getting no points and a £250 fine.

The lawyer letter came through saying i got 3 points and a £400 fine.

Safe to say that chump never got his money.

The loss of my licence meant the loss of my job, so I have 6 months to pay up.

To be honest 3 points and a £400 fine is still pretty good. I thought it was a mandatory 6 month ban for dangerous driving.

Its not standard procedure to write to solicitors with the outcome of a hearing, unless they request it.

You should get a fine notice with the information on within a couple of days. Normally arrives about 5 days after the hearing.

If your worried about anything, just give the court a ring and they will get the paperwork out and have a look for you.
