i have been told i will need rubber band tyes to fit omega alloys to my corsa,
what does this mean please

mine are 195/40/16's.....theres not alot of sidewall, and you feel every bump in the road

The biggest single components of tyre rubber are oil and graphite, both are lubricants. It's not actually made of rubber

From owning cars with many different profiles etc Id say its far more down to the suspension/bushes chassis design than just tyres.

My calibra had 35 profile and koni's set to soft, ride was perfect. I also have an astra with 40 profile tyres, when i recieved my wheel i had 45profile tyres and ride was almost identical.
Obviously it makes a difference, but not that much IMO
