Just bought a Dell laptop but it comes with Vista and they wouldn't change it to XP.....
my question is, what will the performance (i.e. quickness) of the laptop be like running Vista.... processor is Pentium Dual Core 1.73 MHZ, and is has 2gb of RAM

Should be ok once you take off all the shite that dell pre-install on it.
But yeah, would be quicker with XP

Vista will be fast enough, xp is a 7 year old OS.

Should run ok. The RAM will make a big difference. The more i learn about Vista, the more i like it.
