Had a crash in my corsa couple of weeks ago. Someone went into the back off me and is now a write off. How much would the insurance company give me for my car? Its a Standard P-reg pre-facelift 1.4 Sport with 92000.

Also. Someone mentioned that if they give me peanuts for it i can turn around and say- Ok then, you go and find me an identical corsa? True or Faux?

you can argue and get a few hundred more, but thats about it, unless you have all recipts for parts and there covered on the policy

How badly written off is it?

Same thing happened to me, just waiting for cheque to come through the post. It's not that bad, but the car's not worth a lot. I'm buying it back, and selling it straight away.

Thats probably what id end up doing! My mrs has jus taken the camera to work so i cant get pics up. Big pug van went into the drivers rear quarter.

So it would be- New quarter panel, bumper, arch, petrol flap plus spraying on top.

Its not to bad just uneconomical to fix! Shame, I liked it! No mods were claimed on the insurance (only alloys and cd player) but i jus spent 290 on new brakes and exhaust, Sod's law i spose!!
