Yup. I'm in court for speeding on wednesday

I got caught testing out my works van, and was clocked at an average of 86mph where the van was restricted to 50mph. Not that it makes much difference, but I was under the impression I was allowed to do 60mph, as I was driving a VW Caddy and its under the 2 ton limit.


I'm expecting 3 points, but I don't know how big a fine i'm likely to get. Any ideas based on previous experience?

Not sure if it makes any difference, but I currently have 3 points on my licence (CU30 - defective tyre)

I wouldnt imagine it to be 2 bad mate.

Scotland are apperently trying to cut down on banned drivers as they learn nothing, So instead give you more points so your insurance is higher, But dont ban you.


P.s Go to court half cut, Its ALOT more funnier. Although i got fucked for that as it was disrepectful.

Thats nice to know.
In two weeks time i'm up in court again for dangerous driving. Its hopefully getting dropped to careless driving though.

It should have just been a normal speeding charge, but i crossed a soild white like (a bit) and the cops saw that, so its classed as dangerous driving
