can you write .mov's onto dvd-r's? my normal writer wont do it, what can i use to convert them into mpegs or vobs for burning?

You can write what you want onto DVD's as a data disc?. You want them to be read by a DVD player?

yea, i want them to be used in a normal player. havent got a divx or avi player, so needs to be a normal dvd format

Maybe find a convertor for .mov to .avi then use winavi to convert to dvd format. Maybe an easier way but have never really touched .mov's before. I usually have movie rips in .avi (divx) etc...
