I have seen a user on here use a sheet of carbon fibre to trim the inside of the boot rather than the bulbous felt bit when he had a semi-smooth boot.
Any idea who, or a picture of it?
Cheers
Edit: Now looking for opinions and people interested in buying a carbon inner panel for the boot

I'm thinking of running a group buy, for a sheet of carbon cut to shape with all holes drilled, including the correct shape holes to fit the parcel shelf clips into
Probably 1mm carbon, about £25-30 a piece?

only thing is, if you want a flat sheet, you cant have a rear wiper..
you'll need the sticky out bit formed in the carbon, if you want to keep the rear wiper

Yea I know that Ste, so I'd only be making them for dewipered cars.
Not looked into it properly yet anyway, probably just make me one to test the fit, then make a few for sale.
