uni or new car?

was going to be getting a loan for a new car. however in just over a years time i want to go to uni to do a motorsport course.

should i buy a tidy derv to save up for when im at uni or get the new car i want

if you have to ask this question then you shouldn't be thinking about uni

Car aside, if it's motorsport in the sense of Engineering, can you not get anyone to take you on as an apprentice? If I had my time again I think that's the route i'd go, especially with the cost of current Uni courses. Even if it takes a little longer to get to the same wage, at least you can earn money while you get your qualifications - and they pay for you to go! Not to mention actually having a job, rather than going through 3/4 years of uni to end up with nothing but a big wedge of debt (though it depends how muc hyou value the xperience of Uni life too i suppose).

Uni all the way TBH. Youll have plenty of time and money for cars after uni

im already most the way through a level 3 apprenticeship for motor vehicle mechanics so would be taking a pay cut too. however i understand a car is nothing compared to the rest of my life?

If you got the capabilities to be in uni, id take it 2bh! Got many years left to get a car at anytime!
