I had an interesting time in the RS with a couple of bikers on the way to Newquay in 2003.
One was on a K1 and the other an R1.
I had been doing my own thing on a very, very nice, very deserted stretch of road for a while.
They appeared from almost nowhere and bizarrely enough, seemed either impressed or at least interested. They joined in and we played for a little over 40 minutes.
Without a doubt, the most heart pounding three quarters of an hour of my life.
Incidentally, I want one of these badly, but it would probably end up as garnish for the RS in the garage...

Getting my R6 was the best thing I've done in a long while. I love the buzz you get from riding it, there is nothing that i could afford that will match the speed of my bike. £2600 for 160MPH! I love it when people say....' if i had a bike i'd kill myself going too fast blah blah'. People think riding a bike is so easy! Rossi is a legend. He has no fear and is so so quick through the corners, if all bikes were limited it would show how good he is! Stoner is quicker at the moment but only on the straights, he can't corner for shit! Rossi has done it consistantly at all levels.

Despite the GP bikes being lighter, a higher bhp, top speed, power to weight ratio?

Incidentally, I had heard of Rossi, but have barely ever watched him. I am more of a four wheel fan.
JR however is a diferent story.
Read the thread Allan you big silly.
