Thanks guys, appreciate the comments so far. It is crying out for a C20XE, I would prefer to LET it but the XE is far cheaper!

Would love a leather retrim aswell. Have had a quote of £600 for front and back seats in black leather inc door cards and parcel shelf.

Keep saying I'll sell for the skyline, but I love driving it Leather retrim and a C20XE would be great

Yeah, the clio of yours looks pretty smart, and I know what I would rather have, but in my case it will be a lot cheaper to 2.0 my car than buy something like a clio 182.

I have just bought a house with my girlfriend too so it might have to be the C20XE.

Thanks wooly. Got a few more things to do, namely

leather retrim
C20XE
semi flushed boot.

Semi flush boot will be done soon, although the leather retrim and C20XE will have to wait while I save up

Nice tidy Corsa you had there mate! Is the C20XE unreliable then? My car is currently a 1.6 sport and I've (touch wood) had no problems whatsoever with the 1.6 engine.

If I get the C20 fitted and it's going to be in the garage every 5 minutes then I won't bother.

Or are they good engines as long as they're looked after?

I dunno mate im just going by reading about peoples problems from here, i would think if you find the right engine then that would be alright, i just dont have time etc plus the clio came up local on the cheap!
