Average in my astra gsi is 28, aint too bad, didnt buy a turbo for economy though.
Done 107 miles to £30 the other day

try 20-21mpg driving nicely.
putting my foot down now and then i see 19mpg and even less if im driving hard for a while.

Iv gotten around 260 miles to 3/4 of a tank so far in my vts and thats with just buying it aswell and a fair bit of blasting it

bloody hell Warren thats bad!.... I get about 35 mpg driving sensibly in the clio, and it drops to about 22-25 if you drive it 'enthusiasticly'!

how much power have you got/ weight
my mate has a 1.8gti mk1 with high lift cam and a exhaust system, pretty much a dead heat between my car and his

dont know, odometer has stoped working as of last week aswell 
its about standardish, but has fanimold, full system, panel filter. Ported head.
Think thats it, want some cams but ideally want a g60

i seem to be getting around 35-40mpg
its a stripped 1.5td corsa B running 17psi
more then happy with that after a cally that did 25 miles to a tenner
