just been asked by a mate to make a stainless cover for one of these on his let corsa,thing is as hes a mate i dont just want to make a plain cover thats as per the original so has anybody got pics of any others that have been made as i dont want to go over the top and make something to fancy as his car is simple and clean as its a gsi shell

was thinking about etching turbo on to it where the standard plastic one has the red writeing but what else can i do before going to far hmmm

Saw one this weekend which was a metal cover, polished up chrome or some shit. Then had turbo etched into it. Had the usual bits cut out for the throttle cable and breather pipe. Looked really good with the chromed camcover too

Donnas we've rubbed out the red Turbo, and sprayed the Turbo letters silver to match the chrome a little more.

I had my cover sprayed anthracite with the turbo lettering painted in silver to match the exterior paint. looked cool imo.

Copy the original but out of stainless, even cut "Turbo" out and have something under it, black perspex!
