Justgot my credit card statement for a card i cleared with a balance transfer, and i have found out i have £90 credit
Its a Virgin (MBNA) card. What do you do with "credit" on a credit card, just sped it? Or can you get a cheque sent to you or transfer the balance to a bank account
Either way

Never had this situation in all 5 credit cards I've had in the passed.
I'd say spending £90 should clear it and be equal.
Might be worth just ringing them though?!

my credit card once got it credit (I bought something, paid the cc off then got a refund)..... I went on my internet banking and transferred it to my current a/c (as I banked with the same people i got my card off) and they bloody charged me as though it was a cash withdrawal....
i rang them up and they wouldn't refund the charges...
your best bet would be to just spend it i reckon

did they take that amount as a minimum payment whilst your cheque to clear the lot was in the post?
Either way, it's a bonus and if you say you want to close the account they should forward a cheque to you.
I had a card company (think it was a GM Card actually) send me a statement everymonth saying i was 19p in credit. I said to just clear it and close the account but they wouldn't write it off without a signature. I couldn't be bothered, so they continued to pay postage on the monthly statement for about another 18months before doing anything about it. That amount wasn't worth having sent back, but they should do a cheque for £90.
