I was at a a music gig last night and Because the carpark of the Place only holds like 20 cars I decided to got to a Pay and display about a 100yds. up the road. At this point the carpark was virtually empty and had about 5 cars Including mine.
After the Gig at around 10 PM I got back to my car and some tw@ in a Shogun 4x4 ( An old one) had parked on an angle and had parked so close that if I had a passenger, there was no way they'd be able to get in without me moving the car out.
It being so late and Pitch black with gale force winds I took the reg. No. and waited till this morning to check my car;
I have a lovely dent in me rear pasenger door and it has gone down to primer What pisses me off the most is I've only had the car a week and you can actually see it from about ten yards away
Is there any way I can make this person pay for repairing it, I have the reg No. so surely I can get details about them and sort it out with them?
I feel as though the arsehole should pay up because he/she had to realise that they damaged my car- no body can be that bloody ignorant and think " oh my door just smacked that other car....ah well, theres no way theres any damage"
Where do I satnd?

hello mate, hard one because its private land (i think). Try get hold of CCTV footage from the car park mate or just phone your insurance company and explain whats happened and if you can make a claim.
Its a shitter though, hope you get it sorted

Find out where the car is located at and have a look to see any of your paint on there or damage to the shogun And as said ask for cctv.

Basicly this is known as "HIT AND RUN" you could class it as that. . . I'd inform the police and tell them what happend because why should you have to pay for someones error!!!

Nick, Lofty (focus rs) had a similar thing happen to him! Someone hit his parked car where I work, and they guy that hit it drove off. CCTV got his numberplate though.
If you've got the reg, get the police involved. It's classed as leaving the scene of an accident
Lofty got money through the guys insurance.
