Crazy Holden pick-up unveiled

This is the amazing 410bhp pick-up which is wowing motor show fans this week.

The Holden Special Vehicles Maloo R8 boasts incredible looks as well as performance with 20-inch wheels, sporty bodykit and 4 exhausts.

The Australian manufacturer is exhibiting the pick-up at the Sydney Motor show which is taking place between the 11th and 21st of October.

While full performance figures have not yet been released we’d be surprised if the 410bhp engine didn’t mean a sub five seconds 0-60mph time and 150mph top speed.

The Maloo is powered by a 6-litre V8 engine originally developed for the Corvette sports car.

The Maloo is one of the sportiest ever pickup trucks – or ute as the Australians call them – with the term Maloo originating from the Aboriginal word for thunder.

Looks pretty nice, should have a nice slug of torque with the 6ltr.
