Had to buy a new cat but go it for £45 then had to pay the standard £40 for test then another £15 for a retest and for them to adjust headlights and re-seal exhaust which shitty powerflow didnt do properly.

Mine cost about £150 this year.
New brake shoes, cylinder, handbrake cable, track rod end ball joint, tyre, wipers. Not bad i dont think.

mine went through first time with just one advisory on front discs. 
had been left sitting for 8 months aswell and still starts first turn of the key

i got a free retest on mine, when it failed, and i even took it home after, and took it back when i fixed the problems on it
