car finance?

you'd be better getting a loan from a bank or something

expensive, plus the car wont be yours to sell until youve paid off all the finance

What Steve said, if you can't pay it outright get it as a loan from the bank, that way it's not tied to the car.

you can sell a car on finance. Easiest way to do it is for the buyer to pay the settlement on the car and give the difference in price to the seller.

If you get a loan and sell it before youve paid it off, maybe you get into financial trouble and dont have enough too pay off the loan, you could end up still paying for it each month even though you no longer have the car!!!!

With car finance, once you have paid half of the total amount payable and you get into financial difficulty, you can hand the car back to the finance company....

That said, some bank loan rates are lower but that all depends on your credit history and the honesty of the dealer you buy the car from.

i got a very competitive rate of finance on my ibiza, it worked out substantially cheaper than a loan from the bank.

as said, you can get better finance deals than bank loans sometimes.

i got 4.5% on mine, bank loan would be much more.

as above, cant understand people who say car finance is rubbish, get a loan.

obviously depends at what rate the garge is doing the fiannce at. many companies subsidise rates to keep numbers up so isnt difficult to find a dealer doing finance under 5% which is impossible to get from a bank with rates as they are.

having worked at a dealership for 12 months, from experience, finance is easier than a loan to get accepted on when your young, and a lot of banks will increase the rate if you are a young person as you dont have much credit history and therefore are a bigger risk.
