Got back at teh weekend from 10 days in Les Menuires in the French Alps - right by Val Thorens for those who knwo the area.
My sister's living out there for the season and it was her 21st last week so had a family holiday over there; anyway pics.............









Snowed for three days solid, lots of off piste snow and he on-piste was well maintained as well

Your lucky it was hot, I went skiing in the Alps in feb, and it was -20oC at night.

Up on the top back country runs it dropped to -18.5 during the day, anything that wasn't covered up froze on your face!
My nose froze solid, I had to literally pull an icicle out of each nostril

You rate it as a resort then?
I was in Alpe D'Huez in Jan so hopefully this will be much the same (although a little higher )

yer resort is nice and the skiing is gud, but not realy enough runs for me, theres only about 6 black run in the whole resort and you soon get bored after 4 days or so, i went on a day trip to Serre Chevalier and that place was just in a diffrent league for the skiing,
dont let that put you off tho les 2 alps is very nice and has some very nice runs  
3600m high around 11,000 ft ish

It a good resort, the nice thing is there's relatively easy access to all of the resorts in "Le Trois Valee" and its centrally located!
