My brother had a Raleigh Mag Burner, stored at a mates as that's where we used to ride it. They moved and his mum binned it.

Pretty unlikely....it more than likely weighs a ton
Great work by the bloke to put that together though....mucho respect
PS: I dont think the wheels match the frame though, in terms of the vintage?

the wheels are skyway tuff 2's but newer ones with the plastic hubs, the older ones with metal hubs are pretty rare and cost a fortune, but the ones he's used are the right look for an 80's bike

Your joking right?
I had a alloy hubbed set of tuff 2's at my old mans......just rang him and he's chucked them in the bin together with my RL bully

no, the new ones like me bro has on his bike are about £100 a pair but the older ones with metal hubs can go for up to £250 in tip top condition. i sold a black pair about 10 years ago for £60 and the rear one was buckled

Ah, cheers for that
Not such a biggie then...the originals used to crack between the hub bolt bearers and the spoke flanges, hence the re-design....and mine had started to crack (doubt you would find any examples without cracks these days)
This thread brought back some good memories though, I used to be semi pro freestyle BMX in the 80's
