Hey,

Just gathering info on the difference between the 2. I know cosmetically they are different but if you used the 2 on a same high spec engine, what would show more power and why?

tbs because they are far less restrictive than a single throttle body and inlet

tb's will produce power increases all over the rev range, mantzel will just increase higher rpm power. So its not all down to bhp figures.

I see what you mean as the mantzel type still has the airbox for restriction whereas the throttle body has just a trumpet

Remove the airbox then.

As said, a mantzel'd engine, on proper management can make 150+bhp.
But thats peak figure.

The range of power is much different.

You're joking mate? Remove the airbox? Tb's have four throttle bodies compared to the one standard. It's the inlet that is restrictive, so the airbox makes really no difference if it has a panel filter.
