Not to sure if this should be here or off-day, move it if you like
Sitting my AS's in the summer, and I was talking to one of my teachers about the fact my last exam is on the 2nd June and I am supposed to go back on the 16th to start A level courses. And she said that Uni's like people better if they have had some work experience in the industry.
Now I want to do Motorsport Engineering at Uni, so was thinking of asking places like prodrive, m-tech, etc, but then realised I would HAVE to pass my test and have a car by then which could be tricky if it goes balls up!
So do you know of any motorsport companies based in Nottingham, that may take someone on for a weeks work experience?

Prodrive wont take you anyway, I applied to them when I did motorsport engineering and they said they dont do work experience placements

Good idea in terms of work experience.
No idea about Nottingham.
For that sort of time, but be worth going to an MOT Test Centre or something of the like?! Even approach a better marque, like BMW or Merc, that have M/AMG models etc.

I am after motorsport companies, I've done a week before at a garage(volvo). Maybe a high perfomance company (eg norris designs) might be ok
