This is a mates car, it used to run a 2.0 zetec till 3 days ago, now its got a focus st170 engine along with the jenvey throttle bodies and omex 600 ecu which he already had on the zetec. He took it to be mapped today but iv not spoke to him yet. Heres a pic and quick video from yesterday, its currently running on the zetec map with 6500rpm rev limit (going to be raised to 7500ish).

just out of interest Matt, could you ask him why he is using a twin throttle cable? usually only see that on carbs.

Looks nice.

I had a Mk1 XR2 as my first car...then followed that onto a Mk2.

That was back in the day before 'tuning' cars became 'normal'....I put a 4:2:1 manifold and full Janspeed on the Mk2, fond memories of that made quite a difference IIRC

Had it mapped yesterday and they eventually settled with 180bhp and 220nm torque for now because whilst playing around with the vct it reached 190bhp but the power curve wasnt very steady, they reckon if they change a pulley and a few other bits and bobs it should see 195bhp easily. I forgot to mention that its got an s2 rst lsd box fitted too.

I shall ask for you and get a couple more pictures today because i need to see him at work anyway but ill probably be able to get a better video tonight of it actually moving.
