doing a uni project based on stats, just wondered if anyone knew were to find say the last 20 years road tax prices? tried different variables and nothing.

Can't help you with 20 years but it was a tenner in 1948.

Page 140 has details of the UK system post 2001 although the prices are wrong by now.

You can use http://www.vehiclelicence.gov.uk/ to find prices at the current rate for cars after 2001 if you have reg number.
