exactly was complety rediculos, like was absoutly empty, no roadworks, but had some flashing lights up saying 50 speed cameras etc.(was on the m42)
im not annoyed at getting caught, i was speeding at the end of the day, just the reason for it seems mental
my dad said a few ppl have been flashed but no tickets , but i dont want to get my hopes up

It's not for road works on the M42. It's for the variable speed limit. The speed cameras don't work on that road anyway.

Was it just the signs that go over the motorway? If it was just a 50 without a red border it's an advised speed limit, actual 70 limit still stands

No, it's the variable speed limit on the M42.

I've never been flashed by them. I have tested them as I used to drive down there every day. But if it did actually flash you then you might have been got. I have never been caught down there, even on the nights when I have been down there at 1am and the signs say congestion and the limits are down to 50mph and I have taken no notice because the system on that piece of shit of a motorway is rediculous.

I thought you had to tell them as soon as was reasonably possible

My mum never told her insurers about her sp30 when she got caught when she went for renewal they told her that failing to tell them could render the policy invalid
