My local car site ran a RR day back in summer and didn't do so well!

86.2bhp @ 5500rpm. Was down on power from standard, and it wasn't running perfectly. The bloke said at the time the ignition timing wasn't right, but they didn't have time to sort it out there any then.

Yesterdays results:

102.2bhp @5250rpm and 116.3lb ft torque. Absolutely spot on results, really am over the moon! The ignition timing was set to the factory recommendation and then tinkered from then on. Did about 5 runs in total, two at the final setting (to check consistancy). Best money I've spent on the car to date

Spec:
E16SE - Rebuilt by myself and a mate (who works as an engine technician for M-Sport, Ford WRC Rally cars).
K&N 57i Induction Kit
Bosch super 4 spark plugs
Corsa 16v fuel pump
4 Branch Manifold
Decat pipe
Mongoose system

Well chuffed

102.2hp, from the manifold and system then.
Quite a good result that.

The new graphs look a lot smoother.

Shocking how smooth the new graph is to the old one, lol.

Autodata said that the E16SE was 100bhp, so suppose I've got 2.2 from the full exhaust system and the induction kit. Fairly impressed though for an 18yr old engine.
