I had lost my UK license as in physical lost it, not via points or anything.

I been on the interactive thing on the website and I can get one posted out here, there is not really any rush as I have a state driving license but when I come back to the UK, I would like to rent a car from the airport so need it back.

Anyone got any idea how long it takes?

I can't call them yet as in college and can't call the UK from here.

mines only took 4 or 5 days i think im sure it says it can take upto 28 though

Do you have to pay for a replacement? I lost my wallet last week so need a new photo licence..

theres a lot of hassle if you lose just the photo bit you have to fill in a new from and new pictures etc which is about £19 for a replacement, tell them you have lost both bits and thery can do it other the phone for the same price, i have done this three times and last time only took three days

mine took a month... was not impressed.. but i did change the picture so maybe thats why

I never thought I would say this about a goverment agency but I emailed them and I got the answer with all the information I need emailed back within 20 mins.

Quite impressed for once.

I lost mine then found it, website said 21 days to process new pne, because I actually didnt need it they turned it round in two days and said they couldnt refund cos it had already been done.

Oh that cost £22 for a a set (paper & card)

I had to pay about £30 for mine, was missing for 8 months, then got a speeding ticket, so had to get a new one

No idea, think i paid to get it quicker, can't remember though. It may of just been £22 I just thought it was around 30, that's all.
