Yes guys...ive joined the pimp my car team!

Ive just bought a 1988 Senator!! CD model with wait for it....

47k miles!!!!!!!! it has had an average of 500 miles a year

Got it with 11 months MOT and TAX

What you's think? will get pics later on today.

faults so far that i can see..(email sent to senator breakers)

"Hi Colin- I have just bought the car and intend to modify it to get it back to its 100% original status before I sell it !

I have seen the following faults so far!

-The rear heater switch stays on when you press it in.
-Passenger side front and drivers side rear windows do not open. Switch is heard clicking.
-Drivers side rear arch is completely knackered. Will need new arch.
-Coolant light is always on. The sensor has gone on the lid of the coolant tank. Will need replacement.
-Lights always stay on on the front window switches (1 bulb is also out)
-Auto box- Im sure the R,N,D,1,2,3 are meant to light up?if so- possibly need a bulb.
-Gaiter for Handbrake is totally worn- will need good condition replacement.
-Centre cap for 7 spoke vauxhall alloys- I have 3/4 but can supply part number etc

If you can help me with them parts for now I can start this project! will have Haynes by end of the week!

Kind regards

Maneesh"

anybody know the colour!! its very unusual

Really any point in 'restoring' back to original state, not exactly a classic and not likely to make you any money imo.

Pimp wagon.

What engine, 3.0 24v lump?

Got the digi dash?

Leather?

Prob not rare at the time, but rare colour now, sort it out, might be worth a profit if sold to an enthusiast on one of the VX boards.

Do you mean 5000 miles a year?

As a car with 47k averaging 500 a year means the car is 94 years old
