You probebly know or realise it but remember to upgrade the brakes if upgrading the power! Just to be safe really.
Maybe try at first working on the air intake and exhaust system eg better induction kit, powerbox (stu_22 does an awesome one) then 4-2-1 branch manifold, decat/sports cat then a free flow str8 through system then remap!!
Just to start with anyway, then work on what Robin says then, like the cams, head work etc. The intake and exhaust related side of things is what im going to start with when i get the X16XE lump in my car as it's the X14XE atm

Already has black diamond brakes fitted up front, but want bigger.
Thanks for the input mate, going to take this thread on board, keep my 1.6 and get it to approx 150 bhp and strip out the rear, should be pretty good fun

What are the biggest brakes I can get under my 15" Cav GSi wheels?
