A little hint how my dad managed to get some money back a while ago. Stay up late, and keep phoning his number constantly, as soon as it stops ringing, hang up, call again. My dad did this for a while then sent a text, When am I getting my money back?
Got a text the next day asking how much and where to send the cheque to, couple of days later the cheque arrived in the post.
Tbh I'd suggest just trying to get the money back now. I know it's a pain cos you've gotta go to the effort of finding what you want somewhere else, but if he's got whatever parts you're supposed to be buying, he's gotta try and shift em again. Although through my dealing with him, I'd guess he's not got any parts and he's trying to flog thin air

i live in Taunton, Somerset and he is in Preston. It would cost the amount of money i paid in fuel to go and see him

call them up and tell them what happened, I'm sure they'll know the correct process to follow. The local station number, not 999 tho

Fraud, punishable with a big fine and/or jailtime depending how many times and how many people they can find he's conned, and if he has a bad criminal record..all depends really.This guy could be going round alot of car forums doin the same..u never know.
