just wondering really,

seen a mint 2003 03 plate Arden GSi with 38k on the clock on full vauxhall history an 2 owners.

its in for £8995.

Which i think is alot but to be fair all the ones with similar miles on them up and down the country are between 8 an 9k. seen one for 10400!!!

do you think its worth it if you were looking for one?
I know what other cars i can get for the money.

I think there are some people who take the piss as far as these cars are concerned

Some are way overpriced, and £8995 for an 03 I would say is overpriced,

I'd pay £7k max for an 03 and I'd be wanting it for £6500

I Paid less for my 53 reg

Albeit with a bit more miles. but body is mint, interior is mint, it has an amazing service history record, with a new turbo and actuator

So £8995 for an 03, No, It's just too much

2 silver one's have come up local

one with 34k

another with 46k

both where priced @ 7500 at dealer's. I looked at one on the forecourt and it was bloody mint ! trader's have about a £500-1000 make up on car's of this value...so i could of got either for £7250

plenty of silver and black ones forsale for less cash but Arden blue ones seem to be higher for some reason.

I bought my GSi from Rachel for £8600 and used it for one year and sold it for the same money with 36k on the clock.

I personally wouldn't pay more than 7k for a mint low miler now though

Even looking on Autotrader your struggling to find one with 40k or less unmolested for under 7.5k

Friend of mine on AOC got his 53 plate GSi with 44k and cambelt done for 7200 three months ago?

Its just a matter of being on the trader everyday and waiting for that bargain to come up.

I personally would look at Leon Cupra R's at the moment as they seem to have taken a slight fall which is making them much more affordable.
