How long is it before speeding points are removed from your licence and do you go from date of offence or conviction date?? cant seem to find anything on dvla unless im having a blind moment
also if iv had a ban in between would they be delayed or would it still be the same?

i *think* it may be conviction day, they are valid for 3 year's, but stay on for 4 years
and no, they dont get delay'd if your get banned

3 years on license 5 years on insurance, you have to pay to get them removed aswell

they only stay on 4 years for minor offences

wtf i dont quite understand how this all works either,,,, i got 3points in september 2006, so when do they get removed from licence? 3 years? but why would they then stay on for 4? and why would i need to tell insurance i have them for a further 2 years if there gone? is it cus they ask how many convictions have you had in last 5years?

you cant remove them untill after 4 year's..
dont have to delcare them after 3, but some insurance companies ask you to though for upto 5 years etc
