just a random late night bit of info really ...
found out that the nissan quashqai and the new VX antara are the same vehicle
just different badges. but a little confused cos nissan aren't GM ... so who's design is it?
nissan's bodywork and GM engine and running gear?
its like that with the VX Vivaro van ... same as the reault traffic. thats renault design and GM running gear and engine, as is the VX movano/renault master.
so whats the advantage of all this model borrowing? simply to save cash on designing new vehicles?
can understand it being similar on GM vehicles (chevvies/VX/opel/holden/etc) but why twin up with renault and nissan on certain models?
thoughts please

It may be because the design is held by a third party.
its not owned by vaux or nissan, but both mentioned have taken an interest.
same as the ford/seat/volkswagen people carriers.
