Renewal time

I paid £189 last year for the MK2 Golf, £56 increase when I changed to the MK4 with 5 months left on the policy. Had a crash in between

Renewal £520, haggled down to £447.

Think that sounds about right considering ive had a claim

Yes. Sounds pretty good - was the claim 'at fault'?

Ner mate, i find golfs tend to be expensive to insure for what they are!

Hmmm not getting any cheaper, had a couple around 380-420 but this doesnt include any mods (nowhere to declare them in the online quote) £450 includes protacted ncd & wheels/suspension, legal cover etc. Might just have to accept my days of 200 quid insurance is over

In that case, it's very good.

Only a lucky few of us get cheaper quotes after having an accident
