Been holding off getting a company car at work for over 6 months now just because I liked having my own.. Blew a wheel bearing up in the Vectra tonight though so its getting chucked in my garage and forgotten about till I can be bothered fixing it..
Just fed up of feeling like all I do is spend money on cars and fuel..at least this way I will get free fuel and no repair bills and more than likely a new car every couple of weeks..
Time to get a car chosen at work now... just a shame we dont have any VXR demos..

I'll have more, just fancy some hassle free motoring.. The vectra is sitting in the garage, might keep it just in case.

My car is left in that many car parks and dodgy suroundings i give up worring about it. I don't plan on buying another new car in the near future unless i get some seious pay rise which will never happen.

This is why I cant be bothered with older cars anymore. Too much hassle, just as you think you've got it all sorted something else crops up and you end up spending a fortune on an old car and its not worth anymore for it!
Got to pay for my car but at least its a set rate every month so I know where I'm at!

Agree with Matty, after all these years, im fedup of spending money on an old car, thats had silly loads spent, only for it still not to work.
Also the exact same reason i bought a brand new bike over an older 2nd hand one.
And the Astra.
Go in garage, get in/on, starts first time every time. No worries about electrics, engine failures, MOT's (yet) and all the other pain in the ass bits.
Bike and Car have not let us down once yet. Corsas on the other hand

I'm the same Daimo. Not going to be quite as new as your Astra but a newer car is the way forwards.

We were very lucky with the Astra. But the little Corsa C was brand new, so it would have been at least a small but brand new car.
Just saves on all the hassle (usually, unless you get a Friday car).
