Hi,
Just a quick insurance question, My sister in law is fully comp and she's just had a major problem resulting in a her car needing a new gear box.
The dealer have esitmated the repairs to be £5,000 to £6,000 for the repairs inc vat and labour.... Her car is out of its warranty and is only worth about £4,000 if sold fully working, meaning the cost for repairs are greater than the cars actual value.
Can she claim for a total loss with her insurance?
