No - its because the rolling road, which is generally used to measure power, will measure it the same whether you tank off in a low gear or build the revs up generally in a high gear.

A launch like that on a RR is very dangerous given the increased stress which the straps are under.

Owning a Skoda has nothing to do with it. I own two Vauxhalls and a Land Rover and I agree with him - I'm not clear why what car you own matters - or perhaps you were being a cock?

Help me out.

hhmmmm my post has been deleted??? any way how do they get rid of the lag? been watching top gear and started to describe it but said who ever you ask will say some think diffrent? basically how does anti lag work?

Its a bit of a daft idea that, but....i bet it was a f**cking good laugh all the same (bigger laugh if them straps had failed) haha
