having the handbrake sorted as it wasn't working properly, asked them to check the alignment on the headlights, but they said they can't as the car is too low

It's only lowered 60mm and apparently can't get over the jacking beam to get close enough to the alignment checker. How do you guys cope with MOTs and lowered 60mm?

Or do I just take it somewhere else?

We always used to do it, if you do it right, it's fine.

did you guys just have alignment checkers that the car just drove up to, rather than have drive over a beam?

Take it to a garage that has the facilites to work on it.

My corsa used to go to a garage that a had a ramp sunk into the floor, had no problem there and mine was pretty much on the floor
