was paying for the car park after i went to get a replacement N95 and the guy next to me left his 2 mobile's on the machine and walked off. one was a nokia 8800 and one was a nokia 6230
i hadn't had a clue where he had gone so me and dad looked around and tried to find a 'home' number on the mobiles. there was none and no sign of him, so we got in the car and drove off still trying to find a number to call.
was just pulling out the car park and a grey gold flashed me, so i went back and sure enough the bloke had recognised me from the pink t-shirt i was wearing and asked if he had seen his phones.
lucky man, if i had lost my phone no one would give me it back
i bet he was suprised, being in essex and all

I reckon he realised he had left them behind, walked back to get them, but they were gone .... and thought 'fuck those fucking bastards nicked my phone'...
'then saw you, recognised you and flagged you down (thinking you nicked them)'... and the rest is history.

so you mean you saw him leave them on top of the machine, got in the car to take them home, got caught and came up with this ruse to make us think you looked for him?

no i wouldn't steal things as i wouldn't like someone stealing my things.
we took them as if we had left them there, i'm sure they would've been gone in 10 seconds (we're talking about essex here)
was looking through numbers to call to say he's lost his phones but he flashed me so had no need to in the end
