I wanna get a tattoo done, ive been looking at loads of pictures and saving ones that have things that i like about them, but i was wondering if someone could draw me one up based on teh pics. Basically I just want a koi on each of my shoulderblades, with a bit of watery background. Ive got a pretty clear idea of the style, and colour, but I just wondered if anyone would be up for knocking up a rough design for me

I like the watery background from this one, and the shape...

But the style of koi itself (obviously not the size or placement!), i really like this one...

and this one...

And as for the colours, I wanted a black and white Shiro Utsuri like this one...

and either another one the same on the other side, hence leaving the fish in B&W and then a bit of colour highlighting the water in the background, or one like this on the ohter side.

Seriously,
Go to the tattooist you are considering doing the work....talk to them and discuss the tattoo.
If they cant come up with a Koi design after hearing what you desire in the tattoo they aren't worth visiting again.
Any half decent tattooist will work with you/design the work to your satisfaction before the needle hits your skin

Im out in spain tho at the moment and although im pretty fluent im worried that I wont be able to explain EXACTLY what i want doing. If i can get someone to do a design that i really like, then half the work is done

I defintely want two fish, i was originally thinking about two swimming in a kinda yin yan circle, but i think one each side would look much better, plus ive got a thing about symmetry anyway! hehe

Yeah man i know, i dont have a foto of my back so i went on flickr and searched for "shirtless back" and thats waht came up. Part of the reason I want the tattoo there though is so I can show off my arms in the summer cos with swimming 4000-5000m a day and doing weights every day, they are getting better
