What would I expect to pay for a Thatcham aproved Alram system for a car?
Reason for asking is I might need one fitting to a car I'm tempted to buy and it would mean knocking 100 quid off my insurance

circa £300 upwards,
Thatcham approved alarms are only good if the insurance company requires that you have one fitted.

Guess it depends how much you want it to do.
