If he doesn't have enough money in his paypal and he is transfering it from his own bank acount then yeah it does take 7 to 9 working days to go through.

Better to be safe than sorry Colin, i'd report it and make them aware of it. Genuine or not. They are always ranting on about not giving that kind of information out to randoms.

Think to yourself,

Is the hassle of accepting what hes saying and going along with it, to even see if it is real or scam worth it

No, just deny him the offer and give it to the second chance/next bidder.

I doubt he'll be that phased if he is genuine anyway. If you need something badly enough you'll pay what ever and from a place that causes as little greif as possible

Say you will only accept Cheque for security purposes, no offence. A bit of money for an item isn't worth your bank balance laddie

In my opinion I wouldnt do business, personal or trade with someone who cant grasp the english language, foreign national or british pikey retard. Just too much hassle, and they need to be denied or they will just carry on like it.

i got scammed once when i was 17, sold a sterio system for £1700, payed by card, put it through company , then phoned american express before i sent just to check all was well, women got american fraud unit to call me some deep voiced black guy telling me not to send it, i asked him what happens now and he said nothing. For 4 months the money was still in my bank so i booked magaluf, and bought a car, they day of my holiday i had to pay it all back gutted
