Some stupid comments, or rather generalisations in here

I've had 3 fiats - most reliable cars i've had. And they are all damn good fun

The GT we had

It was a 94 GT1.

As standard they are a bit limp (but still faster than a GSi)... Fit a bleed valve and the power delivery is transformed... even if ou only knock the boost up by 1psi or so.

We had ours running about 22psi, diff ECO, FMIC, big exhaust etc..

170bhp+
190lbft
14.7 at 100 on the 1/4mile

and it was quicker than 2.0 corsas... fact

Erm the one i had was ace

got it to 165 bhp seb2, manifold back system, intercooler, filter etc boosting pretty high....

Much better built inside than a 106 or saxo, felt very sturdy as did the steering and suspension no knocks creaks etc.

I enjoyed just a pity it went bang

Just in comparison, i had a vts after, played with my mate who has a seb2, gt3 same spec as mine and we were level.
