Sad thing is with the NSX (I love them, great cars, Senna liked it enough, thats good enough for me), is that even with a supercharger, its still hard to get serious power out of the engine. I think most road going SC NSX's stuggle to get 400-500bhp. But a 400bhp SC NSX, wow, i bet its awesome if setup (suspension) properly.
Think AK was looking at them, he probably knows more.
Who say's it wasnt a track? Nice car, sounds great, balanced well as you say but it's just BEGGING for more power. I was really unimpressed with the pace of it, it doesn't need to be pant browning quick, just enough to give you that rush which it doesn't.

Agreed. I've not driven one, but been a passanger, and it just didn't give you that "rush". Even the astra give more of a buzz when the turbo spools up.
For £70,000, i'd want more performance.

For £20k, its a lot of car for the money.
But then i'd think, ooooooohhhh NSX, or TVR for similar budget.
ARRGHHH STOP me dreaming, stop... STOPPPPP

i'd prefer an NSX for 20k over a TVR.....
I looked into TVR's a while back and just gave up them after reading all the rebuild and general tales of horror. Nice cars, but not really use and forget then bring it out again on a nice day. Supercar temprement
To me the NSX is appealing as it appears to be relieable, useable..... but damn nice

It'll carry on working for more than 20 miles too. It'll take a thrashing and still come back for more.
Other great thing about the NSX is how rare they are. I think Honda sold 9 one year, then 7 the next year in the UK, hence why they stopped making them, they just wern't selling for £70k anymore, especially when you can go buy an M3/RS4 etc for similar money and more (straightline) performance with more luxery. Im sure other countries had similar kinda sales figures.
I see a lot of TVR's, i don't see many NSX's at all.

I agree, reliable, shouldn't depreciate much now, rare etc and probably a good buy at 20k. However there are cars that are way more fun out there, and lets face it, a sports car is meant to be fun isn't it?
