Am i the only 1 that doesn't get jealous when folk say they're away travelling? Never been a fan of it for any length of time, fortnight is enough and i want to come back home.

Nice work Tiger, got a mate out there at the minute, 12 month visa for oz, 4 months in New Zealand, then a steady trip back across the world. I'm up for it depending on if I have developments in my working live. Got to be done.

You have to go there to understand.
You can be warm in Australia all year round, one state is always hot. The standard of living is high, the wages arent bad and go much further than here. They have awesome motorsport, the beer is colder than here when its most important, the cars are way better - its no way near as full of cunts as the UK is - theres plenty of space, the roads out of the cities are empty, there's no speed limits in the Northern Territory, its interesting, its colourful, all the places are built near water, they have interesting aboriginal culture that can still be witnessed today (even if us Brits did try and take that all away from the natives like we do everywhere we go) They have better pies than the UK, They don't have Polish nicking all the jobs.
I could go on all night.

where else can you go into shops and the staff start chatting to you about the day rather than looking at you like your gonna nick stuff, where else can you go to a pub/nightclub in shorts and flip flops and not feel out of place

I loved that whole aspect too - so casual and chilled out.
