the two vans are restricted at work as they are both large vans, with glass racks inside and out. There is ways around them, but its explaining it when it all goes pear shaped.
and it is boring sitting at them speeds on the motorway in them, getting overtaken by anything and everything

mini buses carry people though so more risk at high speed.
iirc correctly its only really effecting twin wheel base models, luton vans, and ones with a large weight capacity.
Can you imagine if they limited all the transits, sprinters, movanos, hi aces, boxers etc etc etc The cost on industry and buisness would be massive. Simply wont happen, the larger vans yes fair enough IMHO

Motorhomes are single axle but over that weight though. That's going to mess my journey to PVS up

The Ford Connect we have at work doesn't feel safe at 70, hence i usually drive it around 60 on motorways.
This evening we needed to get back to the office for 6, in which case i pushed it to 70. Didn't feel safe at all..

IIRC non car derived vans are only legally allowed to do 60mph on motorways anyway so whats the problem?

I had a feeling it'd be over 3.5 tonnes. Both dad's vans regardless of age should be ok then.

Most companies have their vans restricted for corporate responsibility bullshit imho. They wouldn't want to otherwise.

My connect feels more than safe at 70, it handles very well for a van IMO very car like.
