Ok i've just turnt 17 seval weeks ago and desided to buy a car 1st before taking any lessons!

I've come across a Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 1998 Blue not so sure on the millage yet and he also told me it's in great condition (Meaning no digs, no rust, in the car brilliant condition)! No Cd player but thats nothing to worrie about as i got my eyes on this Cd/Dvd player in halfords which im also going to get next month! I've known this kid for years but don't really know him that well to call him a friend! He brought the car for £900 3months ago and said to me his getting an insurance pay out or something like that for £7,000! And told me i can have the car for £700... Obviously i'm going to try and get him lower so im going to ask if he will take £650! £50 better then nothing eh? I think im getting a good deal here! I have £620 coming in at the end of the month from people oweing me money lol!

So im just curious and asking weather this is a good deal? And also what would it cost roughly to get a car of this year and condition etc... From a total stranger like yourself?

Thanks x

Sounds like a good deal tbh.

But it is a little cheap IMO.

I thought they go for like £1000-£1200?

He is bound to say it is in great condition, hes trying to sell you the car- check it yourself really tbh.
Also, no CD player could work in your advantage as a bargaining point
Any pics of it?

Doesnt seem a bad price all in all, but mileage is also something to look at.

dont worry about mileage to much, remember hes young and might have the ragged the faff out of it.

its how the miles were covered in a respect
