I am hoping to get my hands on one of these engines for a corsa v6 conversion. I am hoping to work on the engine before i dump it in the corsa but what mods can i do internally and externally, at what cost and what sort of power gains will i see?

Depends how deep your pockets are but a turbo v6 is possible

I would prefer not to turbo. Someone sugeested 3.0 cams? is there much gain? And what about exhaust systems and performance manifolds?

u can use a saab turbo quite comfortably on the V6 lump apparently...

3.0 cams are a good upgrade not sure if there is any hughe power gains but i do know that it makes the engine better overall more responsive and what not its usually one of the first mods on a 2.5 v6

Manifolds need to be custom made anyway, as the standard ones foul the steering rack and crossmember.

Can run an F20 on the 2.5 and 3.0 v6 also.

does anybody know if there is much weight difference between the 2.5 and the omega 3.0. Not sure what one to go for as you can hit over 200bhp with 3.0 cams in the 2.5 with a full exhaust system?
